Blog Cosmetic Surgery and End of Paying Premiums?
So I’ve been really dedicated lately to trying to revamp the sites look. I know that I want everything to still be highly readable and non offensive to you guys. That’s number one important to me. It’s also necessary to be able to have statistics, advertisements, and links to useful products and services on here too. Again, hopefully it’s not too offensive to you guys and you’ll stick around and bring your friends.
I recently stumbled upon this guys blog. He’s a pretty good Wordpress designer who made the current them I’m using now called Options. It’s a pretty awesome and dynamic theme. Even though I haven’t yet made it to its full potential, it seriously makes one reconsider paying for a “premium” Wordpress theme. Although, it has been said both by Justin and a few others, there’s still a market for premium themes. They just need to keep bringing their game to the next level, because free themes like Options is coming right at them.
So my plan from the beginning was this; I’ll use a good free theme I can modify a bit until I can afford to pay for a premium one. Then once I can afford to buy a custom one I’ll do that. Now though with the current theme I’m using, I don’t feel like I need to buy a premium theme. I can take that money saved and put it towards my custom blog design fund, or better yet, my babies crib fund.
So for all of my buddies out there that have been looking for a great theme to play with. Make sure to check out the links in this post. You won’t regret it, and no, I don’t get anything for you checking it out, it’s free baby, free as in free beer. Hmmm.. beer.
