Keeping it Rolling

I’ve been very technically busy lately. My goal has been to try to make my blog as friendly and readable as possible. I’ve been playing with a combination of many different Wordpress plugins and have accomplished quite a bit. While most of the changes are subtle, they are noticeable in making it more “user friendly.”

Besides working on the back end of the blog, I’ve been doing a lot of networking out in the “real world.” Yes! I mean in person talking to people and sharing ideas! *Gasp* I know it’s quite the radical idea to talk to people face to face, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Yesterday I had a meeting with two of my friends. Bear and Andrew. My wife was there as well, at least for the second half of the meeting. During this time we brainstormed ideas for a joint business venture that I proposed and that we’re doing together. It involves creating two clothing lines. *It will just be shirts at first probably*

One of these lines will be catered to Filipino people, specifically for this years Filipino festival “Pista sa Nayon.” This festival happens every year at Seward Park in Seattle, WA. The other clothing line is more broad in its audience and is targeting the “Urban Culture.” Our goal is for it to depict raw, gritty, artistic, thought provoking imagery and text. While these lines seem to be highly different, they will be walking hand in hand.

So with that being said, I guess I’ve been pretty busy. It feels good though to be working towards goals. More then that, it feels fantastic to be actually making progress on those goals. The ball is rolling now, and its gaining momentum.
