Making that Internet Money 101 Part 1

There comes a time in every new project, or business adventure where you got to take the first step. Well now is that time for you. I’ve been working with a few of you in the Freebie business and mainly it’s been a learning process for me. The concept I was quick to understand. All the reasons why it was legit, how the money gets trickled down from the big corporations down to us makes all the sense in the world, if you look at it right. Hopefully you do, or you will soon.

Okay, let’s get started with the first step. Now I’m not going to be going over the mental and emotional preparations here with you. You can do that on your own, or we can do that another time. This is a quick basic “No-Nonsense” approach to getting started in Freebie trading. In fact these are steps to do in any online business. Think of this as the general course requirements at college, they’re the same for all the majors. So here we go with “Making that Internet Money 101″ :-P

1. Open a checking account to be used only for your internet business.

2. Open a Paypal account and connect it to your checking account and debit card.

3. Pick a unique memorable name or persona to do business as.

4. Register your own domain name. I think it best to use 1&1. It’s 5.99 for .com 1 year with private registration.

5. Get some good web hosting. I use Hostgator and I am very pleased.

6. Create multiple email addresses through your host provider that are tailored for your business uses.

7. Configure your email accounts with a centralized email client like MSOutlook or Mozilla Thunderbird.

This is the end of part 1. I decided after beginning the post that it would be too long for one entry so I decided to break it up. As you can see so far, I meant what I said when it will be “general” only instructions. These are all things that everyone should do when they start.
