It’s getting late. I can’t sleep. My tonsils are killing me, and my wife and I went to the emergency room and the “doctor” says that he can’t see anything wrong. He just poked a long cotton swab into my throat, quite roughly at that, took a culture and said the results would be done late tomorrow. He said he’d give me something for the pain but he just doesn’t think it’s tonsillitis or strep throat. After waiting for like 10 minutes for him to come back, I said forget this. So my wife and I left. I didn’t need to waste any more time while the guy went to get me Motrin or Tylenol.

So now I’m just going to take it easy at home and hope that the nightmare I’ve been experiencing the last few days won’t come back. I’m talking about the burning throbbing pain in my throat and the fact it swells up so much at night I feel like I’m being smother by a pillow. Good stuff huh? Well at least I got plenty of things to distract me from my sickness. I can always work on some freebie trading or writing.
