Revolution Money Exchange
So I’ve heard of it before. It’s a newer site that you can use to send and receive money. It’s sort of like Paypal with a lot of major differences. Differences that I PREFER! Let’s go into it just a little bit. Just a bit of forewarning. This is probably going to be a quick and dirty post. I think once you read this it’s best for you guys to check things out for yourself. I can lead you to the door, but you’re going to have to walk through it. Let’s begin!
Paypal is a brokerage company. Everyone knows about some Paypal horror stories. www.paypalsucks.com is kind of a self-serving site, but it does give you information about those storries.
Paypal charges a bunch of fees per transaction once you are premium or business.
Paypal does not have to adhere to banking laws. *check reason one* So you’re not protected that way.
Now I like Paypal still, and it is going to be a major part of business and my daily transactions. However, it’s good to know theres legitimate alternatives out there.
Revolution money exchange doesn’t charge transaction fees. At all. You don’t earn interest though and it has monthly maximums of 2500 and you can only keep a maximum of 2500 in there. So it may not be the best for any businesses that do more revenue then that.

It’s backed by a bank. It’s FDIC. You’re protected by FEDERAL BANK LAWS. This is great. No random frozen account horror story here.
It’s free. You can make up to 500 dollars a year referring people. It’s a damn good looking site. Also it can only grow. My biggest gripe about the thing is that it was started by the owner/creator of AOL. But hey, that’s not too bad.
So thats the quick and nitty gritty. Which is more then enough for me to have wanted to join it. The sites legit and you don’t have anything to fear. If you don’t believe me, hey that’s ok, do some research on your own no biggie. They do require your SSN because of federal laws, after all you are opening a financial account. You’re also still protected by bank laws. Remember that. So if you’re interested I’d appreciate you signing up with my referral invitation. Spread the love and in turn refer your friends, family, co-workers, readers or whatever.
