Ok. As I was reading PC World magazine today, I learned that in Word 2007 you can publish directly to your Wordpress blog. You can also publish to many other blog platforms. Now this seems to be very convenient in a lot of ways. That is as long as the formatting carries over properly. If it doesn’t well I might as well just log into my account and write from there. Or should I? I know that many people prefer to write in a word processor program. Also if you do your posts in this way, you’ll have a backup locally on your hard drive. That is assuming you save it, and I hope you do!

So it really does seem to be a viable option. You get all the tools and resources of Word 2007 and the convenience of having your posts backed up. There’s also a different feeling typing in a program on your computer then via your web browser. I actually feel more relaxed and at ease doing it this way. Hmmm, I can really start to get used to this.
