Moving Into a New Apartment
So the wife and I have finally decided on a new place. It’s not exactly what we had in mind when we first began looking. It’s slightly higher in cost, but it does include w/s/g at least, and it uses one of the cheaper electric companies in the area. It’s also a lot smaller then we originally wanted, but in the small 11 unit complex, they have 2 bedrooms that are also being remodeled (the one we got has been remodeled completely with new appliances and hardwood floors) and we can just switch over to it when available if we want. So that would be perfect for when we have the baby and my sister-in-law comes to live with us. The place is really, really quite, it’s also ground level so my pregnant wife won’t have to kill herself going up and down the stairs!
I plan on adding some pictures of the place soon for you guys to see. I really want to take some of it while it’s empty, because it still looks spacious! It also looks really good though when you can see all the hardwood floors. The property management company did a really good job having it remodeled. The place is a honest diamond in the rough find. It’s also only 8 blocks from where we’re staying now, so even though it’s not any closer to our daily jobs, at least it’s not any further. I also plan on getting a second job to help pay the bills, and it’s a more convenient location for the jobs I’m interested in. Hopefully one day I’ll have just ONE job that makes enough to keep my family happy and taken care of, until then though, I don’t mind doing extra work.

Just an update.. we decided to pass up on this place.. it was just too small. .we told the property owner we want to move into their two bedroom when it’s finished.. but we may not.. they’re gorgeous lil places.. but even so, think it’s priced a bit too high..
