Wow! What a interesting day at work. So I’m at lunch break right, and I’m going to buy a drink at Specialties café which is right next to my work, and who do I see? I see NBA point guard and All-Star Stephon Marbury! Yes, I really did and now I’m wishing I had had the guts to ask for an autograph or picture. However this is against company policy, as I’m a security officer. Besides that fact, he really, really, looked like he didn’t want to be bothered. It was just funny ya know? Here is this big time basketball player, less so now than before, but still a great player, and he’s just chilling waiting for his food order. He was wearing a thick striped dark blue two piece suit with a lavender shirt underneath. Which is really contrasting to the myriad tattoos on his body, the visible ones being all over his neck and 1 or 2 on his head? It kind of makes it difficult to not be recognizable, yet apparently there were only a few basketball fans in the area. I saw only three people besides myself pay any attention to him, and this was over the course of 5 minutes.

So all in all, it was really cool to see this guy and to be close enough to shake his hand, but I didn’t have it in me to bother him. Even without an autograph or picture to share with you guys, I thought it was exciting enough to worth mentioning, but hey , maybe that’s just me.
