It’s not that you don’t want to be judged by other people, you just don’t want to be judged poorly. You want others to think highly of you, even though you swear up and down that you don’t give a fuck what other people think. You say you’re secure in yourself and the thoughts and opinions of others have no affect on you. Hmmm.. I call bullshit on that one.

I judge people. I do it all the time. I also accept the judgments of myself by other people, even if I don’t agree with them. It’s a fact that you have to deal with. I have tried to cease in my efforts to stop the inevitable. What I’m working on now is trying to figure out the difference in what is and what isn’t inevitable. What I have discovered that can’t be altered at this time, I come to grips with it instead. You most likely judge people as well. You say that you’re a non judgmental person and you accept others for who and what they are, but you most likely judge them anyways. Maybe you really do accept them, yet you still hold your judgments in your head.

I’m a judge of character. Quite a good one at that, as long (take heed of these words) as long as I am not deceiving myself. As long as my emotions don’t get in the way of my rationale. This is not always possible. In fact, sometimes you need to embrace your gut instincts, your emotions first, and then throw in logic later. This in of itself is logical. You just got to figure it out. I try, I know others who try. Here is the million dollar question, will you try?

I cast stones. Remember that. However, my aim is mostly true and my throws well deserved, for either good or ill.

So all in all, it was really cool to see this guy and to be close enough to shake his hand, but I didn’t have it in me to bother him. Even without an autograph or picture to share with you guys, I thought it was exciting enough to worth mentioning, but hey , maybe that’s just me.

There are many popular social networks out there, they are all geared towards specific demographics, some are more personal, some professional, some an amalgamation of both. Names I’m sure you’ve heard are; Myspace, Facebook, LinkedIn, Orkut, and others. There are also the sharing sites which are social networks as well, like Youtube and Metacafe. At this time there are literally hundreds of options out there for people. What I’ve seen that is popular lately is what is referred to as the mini social network. These are sites like Twitter, Pownce, and Plurk.

All of these options and sites can really become confusing for the average internet user. I myself, am computer literate, and up to date with most technologies that are considered “hip” or “cool” or whatever adjective you’d like to use to describe your favorite tool or site. However, even for me it just gets to be a bit too much sometimes. I’ve noticed that I’m active on them for only a few days or weeks and then just kind of let it die. With my blog though, even if I go through a dry spell, I can always come back to it and continue doing what I’m doing. I may not have much readership, and I’m probably generating no revenue, but hey, that’s ok, right? Not everything is about the recognition and the money. Sometimes, you just want, no you need, to express yourself.

That is why, in the end, if I could only have one or the other, I’d pick my blog instead of my profile. Even though it’s considered “stone age” now, I can still keep in touch with friends through email, or on my blog if they have the decency to register.

Here is a training script I made for zmud that works pretty damn well in REKMud. It has aliases and triggers and also all the messages you need to start off your character and do your mastery pretty damn fast. Most people can do them within 1 or 2 hours with this easy and with minimal effort or attention. There are some instances where an improve message will not show, and put a kink in the script. That’s why you got to pay at least some attention to it and check on the progress every now and then. You also have different triggers to enable/disable depending on where you are in your training. I’ll list this as well.

Below is notes pertaining to parts of the code with the specific instructions needed for smoother implementation.

The above lines are for when you’re at the training dummies. The dummies are located east of recall. The berserking trigger is so you keep in combat with the dummies and max your weapons faster. The other trigger is to increase speed of maxing your spells.

You’ve got to start off with a soul stabber in order for the script to work. Make sure that before you start weapon training you use the createall alias once for two armed people. Twice for four armed people. If you have four arms make sure to manually go and edit the weapon triggers if you want. I don’t even bother because it finishes fast enough anyways. Also make sure you have two erasers and two spider fangs.

For stance training you need to start in viper. Set your autostance to viper when you start attacking the dummies. Start with either berserk or the alias kspell. Check on progress periodically to make sure there are no errors. Remember that you need to have 2 billion xp for when you purchase your superstances. So keep that full from the beginning.

I quoted this entire one because it’s short. Start off with 2 billion xp. You don’t really need the whole thing but start anyways. Then use the Supertrain alias to finish off all your regular training stuff. After that train up your base stats by typing them. For example train str. Then wait until they’re finished. Then train the next one. It will go very fast and cost the least amount as you’re only training the primal as you need them. The alias kspell is disabled by default. I plan on adding some pictures of the place soon for you guys to see. I really want to take some of it while it’s empty, because it still looks spacious! It also looks really good though when you can see all the hardwood floors. The property management company did a really good job having it remodeled. The place is a honest diamond in the rough find. It’s also only 8 blocks from where we’re staying now, so even though it’s not any closer to our daily jobs, at least it’s not any further. I also plan on getting a second job to help pay the bills, and it’s a more convenient location for the jobs I’m interested in. Hopefully one day I’ll have just ONE job that makes enough to keep my family happy and taken care of, until then though, I don’t mind doing extra work.

I just installed a nice little tool on this site called Snap Shots that enhances links with visual previews of the destination site, interactive excerpts of Wikipedia articles, MySpace profiles, IMDb profiles and Amazon products, display inline videos, RSS, MP3s, photos, stock charts and more.

Sometimes Snap Shots bring you the information you need, without your having to leave the site, while other times it lets you “look ahead,” before deciding if you want to follow a link or not.

I’ve also been trying out new mini-blogger services like Plurk and I have even added it to my homepage here. Now even if I’m months, or years, behind on these social services/networks I don’t really mind. I don’t have to be the ultimate cutting edge when it comes to those things, and most of the time I’m not that far behind anyways. As a matter of fact I do believe there are people out there in the world (gasps!) that don’t even use any social media service. Too many of us take for granted and assume that the entire world is as engaged in these things as we may be, however that’s not the case. If it was, I’d at least have a greater chance, percentage wise, of getting some increase in traffic!

Besides the adding of the misc. widget here and there, I’ve been doing some other serious design overhauls. For example I’ve decided to do away with any type of ads really at this point. Again, not like I have enough traffic where it matters, and besides, I’m more interested in developing some reader/blogger relationships anyways. Which means that as I have been, I’m focusing on content and entertainment. I also really do hope that I can get back into the near daily posting habit. Hey, it’s a goal right? Got to at least have a goal if you want to accomplish anything, even if it is as mediocre as posting frequency.

Well I think that’s about it for me right now. I do have appointments on the morrow to attend to, so I am in dire need of rest. (Oh, I do so enjoy throwing around archaic phrases!) So goodnight to all and to all a good night.
